'Til Death May We partA Poem by Cocoacandycurl a rose around your finger, like a wedding band, make sure it's fresh. feel the thorns leave their marks, claiming you for theirs.
Tie a snake around your neck, and hope it doesn't bite, wind a tie to match your tux, for you must look your best.
Slick your hair with black widow's spit, make it gleam like hades' fire, for you must impress her father, and we all know that's not a simple task.
Find your woman in the hall, take her hand so gently, my, you do look dashing together, though your figures are so ghastly.
Dance your final dance, my dear, lead her on the floor, for you and the womanly figure of death's own daughter, will now be wed forever. © 2011 CocoacandyFeatured Review
