Spazz AttackA Poem by CocoacandyHer throat closing in, Heart pounding through my chest, Feeling as if it will bust through my rib cage, Pupils pulled wide in fear, Body rigid and stiff, As if she is dead but yet alive, Standing in front of the class, Alone, though in a group, What if she messes up? Will her group forgive her? Or will she be picked last again? Her body grows numb And her eyes blur, Unable to focus on the task at hand. She stutters, Her tongue and lips Like the Sahara desert. Suddenly her ribs seem to cave in, And she can’t breathe right, She collapses on the floor, Gasping for air, She starts screaming and Panicking, Having her own mini spazz attack. © 2011 CocoacandyReviews
