Are You Okay?

another one that i wrote last year while i was going through depression...

She's Crying,
but why?
Did I hurt her?
I didn't mean to...
She's screaming now,
why?
Is she hurt?
I never was really
going to hurt her...
Just scare her...
Anyway, she deserved it...

Now she's gasping for air...
her wounds are bleeding badly,
but i feel no pity...
why?
I stand there, watching...
I wonder what it feels like,
should i call for help?
But why should I?
After all, she's the one who
said those horrible things..
Making up my mind,
I sheath the blade,
slide it into my pocket,
and slowly walk away...

ooh, well isn't that dark... i like this one a lot, actually. the first stanza isn't near as powerful as your second, nor does it flow as well, but it's the second stanza that i'll remember and that stays with me.
