Beautiful to Me
A Poem by Cocoacandy
Snowflakes glitter in the sky, Birds fly south for now, Snowshoes and skis in cold hands, Shovels across ice.
Christmas trees topped with angels, Gifts piled high ‘Neath it, Children singing gay carols, Yule logs a-burning.
Ginger bread in the oven, Friends around the fire, The smell of pine on the air. Talk of Christmas past, Of past, when Jesus was born, To save souls of sin.
And this day, this Christmas night, Remembers the babe, Sacrificed for us by God, So that we may see, These snowflakes on the night sky, Beautiful to me.

A beautiful and positive poem for winter. I like the cold days. Good for cooking and family time. I like all your examples also. A wise person can see the beauty in each day we are alive. A excellent poem.
