In his Arms

In his Arms

A Poem by Cocoacandy

In his arms, I feel the beauty of love,
First time I’ve felt it, could he be the one?
Like an angel, sent here, down from above,
Missing him, not wanting to be alone.
Cautious and caring, ’cause he knows my past,
By my side, helping me all of the way,
Holding me tight, helping me to outlast.
And staying with me through the night and day.
My guardian angel, always with me,
And by my side, loving my every flaw.
Going against all I know, look and see,
He’s not supposed to love me, it’s human law.
Disobeying every law, just to be,
Lover and friend, the only one for me.
