some prose inspired by hikikomori/soushokukei in japan

there is nothing i want more than to be left alone.
everywhere i go, i am always stared, pointed, & laughed @.
all the time, i feel like a target

i'm always inside my home. i can't be outside.
i am neither loved nor hated, & i'm quite sure nothing can be better.
but sometimes this peace is disrupted, & it makes me nervous
@_@

please, whoever you are; just go away & let me be alone.
i know there is so much love in the world, but it isn't for me.
i'm quite satisfied w/ the friends i already have, thank you

& i don't need any rivals or enemies.
there is enough hassle in my life already.
i'm afraid my answer is 'no'

but those feelings that urge you to speak -- can be spoken elsewhere.
as for me, i'm very happy w/ the way i am

so don't worry about me; i'm going to be just fine.
b/c i know that there is so much love in my heart.
& i wouldn't change that for the world
