Johnnie Lee Cochran a high-profile lawyer and civil-activist, well-known for his leadership role in defense and criminal cases in California. In the year 1959, he graduated in Business Economics from the University of California and J.D from the Loyola Law School in 1962. He passed the Bar Exam in 1963 and appointed as Deputy City Attorney in the Criminal Division in Los Angels. By the end of the 1970s, he established his reputation in the black community by prosecuting many police brutality and criminal cases.
