CelebrateA Poem by George LoveFireworks inspired me to jot a few notes
Celebrate!
Not for one did they fight this fight
And not for one would they die that night
In midst of dark they met their fates
While many their foe their ideals did hate
Send forth now the bright shining lights
Let them burst high in the sky
Remember now that once soldiers fell
And embrace their losses on fields in the night
Fire to serve our palates delight
And music yet praises our great land
Honor that man whose fate did land
For yet he fell in that dark night
Burst the bombs high in the sky
Let their lights fall and shower us all!
Will night so cover this blessed event?
So Celebrate now, and Celebrate freedom forever!
