Rant Against the MachineA Poem by George LoveSometimes, it's as if they plan to spite us!
Rant Against the Machine
Evil you sit in darkness
Awaiting the next one your way
All the while, you plot your deed
Which will your evil heart desire?
Turbulent trashing and wildly you toss
All inside you till at last all stops
Waiting that one dark moment in time
When you set loose that foul design!
Ever shall they trust you yet?
And never think you at fault
It cannot not think,
It cannot feel
Tell me then, why so many tears?
Flowing now towards all we hold dear,
Never once slowing nor heeding the cries!
Dashing now once all our day’s work
Treasures of past hold you no worth
And once now more the flow stops
Beaten back by all we find and more
Till once more subdued and into that place
Yet it cannot feel, nor can it think
But maybe it did, would that be the trick?
