Thoughts

A Poem by George Love
"

Some rambling stuff that had to get out of my head

"

Thoughts

These things in our heads
Are we slaves to them instead?
We do every thought ponder
And take upon ourselves to wonder
Why this world is just so
What is it we must know?
To find one thought and rhyme
Deeper we sink for lack of time
As once our thoughts now run wild
Will ever be a time so mild?

to quote one of my favorite poets,,,oh the thinks you will think,,, and oh what things we do think . how much time is wasted running about the halls of our minds, opening and slamming doors, frustrated at not finding the answers to the questions we just have to ask. makes one ,,, ponder,,, and ,,,wonder,,,
see look at all the thoughts you provoke with just a few words. nicely done.

It is when you allow your thoughts out to play, that you come up with a poem like this. I loved it. Oh, the thoughts we ponder..when we.... Great piece. Rain..

short and to the point. it is so relatable to your readers because so many people feel this way. What does it mean to ask questions, and questions you may never get the answers to? the mind forever spins.

peace,
Danielle

I think a lot of us are sort of caught in our own heads at times...it's that darn muse I think! I really liked this poem :)

I like this a lot Pete.
I relate to it easily and sometimes I think about such things too. My thoughts on are just like you describe here.
When I was little I asked my Mom if our brains can go to sleep and rest for awhile, 'nope, not until you die.' I was fascinated mostly by the fact that I mind sleeps but my brain doesn't. lol

Wonderful thought provoking write...

I love this. Yes our thinking ability is a very important part of the human kind. What would we be without it. I 'think' we'd be even less than an animal, though sometimes we tend to 'think' too much, and make ourselves live more difficult, because of those thoughts....

There you scratched one of my favorite topics, and you did it marvelously. It's very 'thought' provoking and well done. I like it.
