Dispatch Central
“11A-2, 11A-2, please respond” the dispatcher called over her console.”
“11A-2 dispatch. Do you have additional traffic?”
Thank God, she thought as the console came back to life. The steady buzz she had coming over her headset was gone. The now steady flow of agitated and anxious voices on the air was hard to track, but they were music to her ears.
“11A-2, please advise status and location.”
“11A-2, we are Code 3 to Highway 288 Access road. Dispatch, are we having radio trouble?”
“11A-2, that is affirmative. Continue traffic as directed and be advised, we do have Air Evac 12 available and airborne if needed.”
