Life’s dark wishes may fall

Into life once, maybe more

Shall it take a fool to see

That glaring light of truth revealed?

Mark the day, and mark the hour

Revealed to you was once the truth

Shown now to all so easily found.

We all so darkly this pathway trod

                             As one lost searching in life’s short lot
