Dark Knight He Comes...A Poem by Carolina Natana poem of a knight who journeys to places never known before....into a maelstrom he came on a charger black as night his armour shone polished bright as a hundred suns his sword at side hung down in a scabbard carved with runes tales they told of deeds well done and some of different kind leather boots reached to his thighs bronzed they were polished rings of gold covered fingers long his nails pointed sharp as knives his hair streamed out like spider's legs whipped by branches spindly in the long cold night he was dark knight adventuring finding way through heaven and hell between blinks of eye eyelashes curled like gated posts barring sight inside he turned to find his path marbled steps upwards led bloody veins became passageways to other realms coloured in such varied tints white and grey and purpled hues each one a different road to take leading to another place where eternity began....
