Campaign Fiend

Campaign Fiend

A Poem by Caleb Andrew

Speakers lark the kitsch that's trending.

Fan-made memed you rich and famous:

Epic chase to reach your tail, tall and wagging high.

No perception further than the nose that wanders nigh.

Platforms sturdy as the zealous lip-sync of your right-staged hands.

Seamless dress of words impress to first outline your virile air.

Cadence earning trade that liens as well as loyalties spent.

Publicized embrace, forgiveness.

Flash-pan virtue, campaign's mend.

Clever grass roots well directed.

Win for few and some for friends.

Hark! The herald anchor's feed.

Misfed newborns, misfit kings.

The bad side of political campaigning and the false promises they make to get elected. You have captured it mightily...:)........
