The grand open air,
welcomes me as I step outside.
The ends of my dress
touch the heavenly earth
lost in the fragrance of youth.
I wish I could visit that place again
I could taste the luscious fruit again
my mouth waters the empty air.
A spring grows in the earth
mud splatters across my dress
All that matters is that I'm outside.
I dance in the shadows of my youth.
My vibrant, short lived youth
I ignore and prance again and again.
Hands sway in the breezy air
Feet stomp the earth
Dirt stains my pretty white dress.
Freedom finds me outside.
It beckons me to venture outside.
But it leaves as I leave my youth.
Liberty won't search for me again
Wishes bend and stretch in the air
and disappears in the hollow earth
I pick up the ends of my dress.
The leaves rustle across the dress.
Deep in the forest outside.
Winds carry and toss branches in the air
Flower petals encircle me again
Enticing me to join their ritualistic youth
Toes dig into the earth.
rooting them as seeds of the earth.
Twigs, red as cherries grow from the dress.
Balance finds itself outside.
Gone forever, my youth
Begs for me to come again
I breathe in the stale air.
Fingers sprout in the air, carrying rich earth
The world trembles outside, I let go of my dress.
My golden youth, I shall go away again.
