Look And Ye Shall Find

Look And Ye Shall Find

A Chapter by Mr. Ink
"

Sometimes, the answers to the voices we adhere to are nothing more than our own beings of self gratitude being played out in a glamorous display of arrogant fortitude. My worth was just beginning.

"

"My world was beginning to overcrowd me with symbolic gestures of free passing wealth beyond the walls of materialism where they stood to grant me o'er. Time was a mighty ways away from where I was headed, to the top of the mountain of untold treasures beyond the wisest of all who dared gaze upon my accolades of great enriched being with truth lacking further I go. Who gives a damn about seeking the truth when the lies I spill out of my forsaken mouth grants me all the wants I need and then some? No one dare cross my path without looking both ways cause......you never know from which way or ways I'm coming?!! You cross me once, you hide. You cross me twice, you're dead cause you never made it to cross number two."

"Rejection follows me oh so very close but I am always at ends with where I end up at, above everyone else. This world does not control me 'fore I control it every time I wake up in the morning and breathe. You cannot control that which is uncontrollable. All that can come from you is knowing the time you do have here is very little, so try as you may, there's no stopping the top of the food chain, which is yours truly. Condemnation can rear back it's ugly head and try to bribe my most sacred thoughts from within me but will not stand a chance when all else fails to strip me of my intelligence. You cannot conquer what you cannot see and I always stand alone in the shadows. That has always been my training grounds and it has taught me well thus so far."

"True knowledge comes from the foundation on which you stand when there's nothing else to stand on. Wariness can try to seize my bones from me but perseverance will always be one step ahead with me. Once thought to be a nobody, an outcast in which the world wanted to strangle every last ounce of life from, my breathing may have slowed to a minimum but my heart would not say "DIE!!!!!" No, never. Born without a purpose, I found life from a purpose and it will be purpose that sets me free. Try and take my life again, World, and my grasp on you will break the yoke off from me and I will kill you, make no mistake about it. These chains you have so feverishly tried to harness me in and imprison me like a helpless child is of no more value "fore they will never suppress my soul or mind and I will only defeat them in time.

"I am coming and I will not waver in silence any longer. The trials of servitude that held me prisoner will soon have to let me go. I have done my time ever since I was born, I have only been waiting for my release date. It is soon and I am very much ready to walk amongst you once more, you people who have no more wisdom than that of a dumb animal. Can't you hear the clocks' ticking my arrival down to the final minute? Don't be alarmed. I am only here because the people have created me out of fear from self, but be careful 'cause out of fear comes treachery and deception followed by tyranny and death  and imprisonment. Mark my words, I salivate at this moment, when all else has failed, in walks the humble servant, the gentle giant, the graceful leader who loves his/ her people, and then, in a fleeting moment, takes the weight of the world and suffocates you with it."

"The dark clouds are gathering at the foot of your doorstep and the rains are churning for the moment they can freefall upon you like madness falls on the crazy. Thunder makes it's presence known by the thick rumble in it's voice as it beckons with sorrow and the heavy streaks of lightning zigzag across the great big skyline like a maze in which it is trying to break out of. Worries are no longer at my arrival. Bitterness holds me with anticipation for what I am about to do next. Dreams of disaster and plague crowds my thoughts like a nightmare too big for me to hold in. It's time for retribution to begin anew. Are you on your hands and knees yet? Do you feel my restraints of pain and fear upon your back and neck? I am the world in the flesh and I have come to do you harm and to do it mightily.

"Your voices will soon ring out with my name and my name shall stand out even among the greats as death shall break out among you in my name 'fore my name is very powerful and causes you all to destroy in wreckless abandonment your moral human values. I have come again so that death and pain and suffering shall be victorious and life will be for slaves until their worth is of no more value, then they too will know death by name. This world knows me well. They just don't know of me, but they will be bowing to me soon. I am Lucifer, the Great Satan, but for now, you can call me, "Judge Josef Luciferos." I am the truth in a lie and you will soon see, I am judge, jury and executioner. Welcome to Hell!!!"

I'll start with the good: As I said in another comment you bring words together in a philosophical pattern. The metaphors are rich. You effectively invoke awe and I was able to connect before the reveal that Satan is the narrator.

The advice: Tone down some of the language. I easily understood what you were saying, but the use of so many powerful words so often can become overwhelming to read. Some of the sentences feel a bit lengthy, maybe break them up into portions of a thought that come together rather than one long phrase.

That's all. I like it. I will read more if you choose to continue.

I'm glad I could help. I agree, spontaneous inspiration seems to work better than a planned outline .. read more
