Spirits Walk

Spirits Walk

A Poem by CaSi

Laying In bed.

How I wish they were Dead,

The yelling and screaming,

 Inside my head,

Kill me now!

Spare the agony of loss.

How wonderful it is to feel found!

Except when you're dead upon the ground.

That's me! That's me!

Can't you see?

But I've been burned alive,

They can never tell.

So look away where shadows dwell,

Upon that Stairwell,

There I stand,

No one can hold my hand.

Some will see me,

Some will be scared,

Some will deny, pretend they don't care.

Smoking that cigarette,

In the darkness of the night.

That's what they'll see,

Lonely me, Just like that night.

They took my life ,

I'll make them pay in every way,

Here I am forever earth bound.

The damage is done the world will come undone,

Spirits will walk free,

But the devil will take over me.

No longer me, becoming evil that's what you'll see.

Everytime we fight,

We improson those involved,

Mostly ourselves.

Trying to put our weary arms to bed.

We'll never be free,

Cursed to live in agony.
