"Once Sweet, Now Sour"

This was inspired by my ex-husband's infidelity.

Sweetness that you once possessed,
has now grown over with this crazy
envy and has soured.

You no longer appeal to my taste,
and no more will there be hope,
hope for you to return untouched.
 
You've been tainted by the stench
of sin that you, so willingly,
wallow in.

Your once pure thoughts,
have been overtaken by lust and lies,
none before you have disgusted me so.

My heart once longed for you
but now, your putrid ways have
mutilated the remains of my soul.
