Dark Angel

Dark Angel

A Poem by Cassidy McIntosh

Dark Angel

Denizens of the Dark
Drinkers of the Night,
Take me with you
Make me one of you
I can feel the Dark
Calling my soul
Dark Angel come to me
Envelope me in your
Raven’s wings
Protect me from
The Harsh Light
Of Judgmental Fools
They don’t understand me
They never will.

Very visual, I liked it. Sounds like it could be lyrics to a Danzig track. Don't forget though, without the light, we wouldn't have the dark, so I guess we are all in this together. If you could work this into a setting, a short story to convey the power, and the outcome of this calling ,that would be cool.
Keep up the great writing,
Peace,
