What makes me a writer? 

Is it the sound of the keyboard 

each letter slowly being clicked click click CLICK

or is it the sound in my head

every word chosen to come out in a way for the meanings to be interpreted

or is it that i can never decide what words to use to make my point

the expansive amount of knowledge out in this universe

all of which i want to share about

and educate others

while my arm begins to fall asleep

and my nose begins to drain

from the dust that has gathered from the humidity

that will not be going away

shall i consider the length of time

i have been writing in my life

will that guarantee my claim to be a writer

a literary genius

a poet

a novelist

I am a writer because I write
