Jar of secrets

Jar of secrets

A Poem by Denim wite

here I sit

on the shelf

collecting dust

-Jar of secrets-

under fogged up glass

and dusty rimmed tin

and golden shimmering secrets

I've watched people pass me by

I've seen people rise after fall

I've been spoken by those who have endured it all

a whisper

a clink

a warm glow to keep

here I am

-jar of secrets-

I'll keep them safe

for, jars can't speak

-jar of secrets-
