A Walk in the Forest by Levi LevinA Poem by LLSimple poem of observation in the forest.A WALK IN THE FOREST
Walking through the forest one day I leaned upon a tree, I came to see all of nature and to feel its peace. In the distance is it the wolf’s joyful howl that I hear, Or is it a fearful howl ringing in my ear. Beneath my feet I see ants working in such unity, Among mankind I see confusion without remedy. I see an owl with a wise look on its brow, Just a day ago I heard a man needing answers scream “how!” I walked over and beheld some flowers all with different colors, It made me think about the different races and the conflicts of others. Now I am watching a mother bird willfully feed her young, Then I wondered why many children has never heard love sung. There is so much beauty here for me to behold, I must come again when I have more time and watch it unfold. LEVI LEVIN
