Dear Who I Used To Be,
take that last part of me and set her free. Let her go.
Dear Who I Want To Be,
keep in mind that you may never be totally, completely who you are.
And Dear Who I Am Today,
remember that you always have a say in what exactly happens to your heart.

Change is a good thing when it’s done right
Change is the better thing when you finally see the light

I never was one to chase my dreams
until my dream was right in front of me so close, but out of reach.
I let it go and I lost a part of me.
I let it go but now I’m a better me.

You learn with every dream you let slip away
so that the bigger ones will stay, stay, stay.
And when you get the chance to make those bigger dreams realties
you know to hold on, don’t let go.
Yes, hold on, don’t let go.
