Mental

Mental

A Poem by Meghan

Those relationships people have,

I don't understand them.

I don't like to build emotional attachments with people

because people always let me down.

I have nothing to trust.

I have no proof that this is false.

I just have my bitter memories

of everyone who has ever passed through my life

and ruined something great.

So use me how you want.

Please use me and throw me out.

That's okay thats what I expect.

I know i'm destructive, but I'm in so deep that repair isn't an option.

My heart was shattered.

Slowly.

But it's in billions of pieces.

You have described pain so well in this poem. I can feel the urgent need of a rescue from it. Good work Meg.
