Storm Clouds

Storm Clouds

A Poem by Meghan

Now consume me, nose powdered I'm numb
Four hands and feet, two mouths that speak become a single one
Forgotten lover, forget the band
Though its a sin, I missed the skin cells left in the palm of my hand
And shoulder to shoulder or chest to chest
He warms me up, he locks me up, safe and sound.

I am storm clouds, or maybe I'm split
My eyes are lit with fire I set to get myself out of this fit
And him, strong arms around my frame tight
Shoulder to shoulder or chest to chest
He warms me up, he locks me up, safe and sound
He warms me up, he locks me up, I'm calm.
He warms me up, he locks me up, safe and sound, I'm happy now
