The Fall, It's ArmageddonA Poem by Meghan
Summer always feels the best
Happy little hearts Riotous f*****g mess Dimples there on freckled faces Hold him close to fill the spaces Tell me what this new heart chases The Fall, it's Armageddon Summer always feels the best Busy little hands Money for a dress Sea green eyes set in olive skin Whisper his name and smile at sin Remember the loss, now she's empty within The Fall, it's Armageddon Summer always feels the best Dirty little feet Never quite depressed Familiar melodies spinning in ears Throw back a shot and a couple of beers The good man he's gone, but still there aren't tears The Fall, it's Armageddon The Fall, it's Armageddon It all becomes unraveled The winter snow covers every road that has been traveled Inner peace has now escaped you Left her in pieces, ruptured, askew Believed she was together, but she needs a stronger glue Summer always feels the best Summer is a temporary fix Summer fools the mind- it tricks Because the Fall, it's Armageddon. © 2013 MeghanReviews
