Bright Star Of Her Love 04-23-2012
Her star shined out from beyond Andromeda. Dangers are not considerable to reach her habitation. Lonely days in isolation are tranforming distance into reality. Little hope is all there is, that some love was left for posterity.
Not to recover what was lost is not my objective. To see her, I will hold the blazing light of her energy of sensitivity. I will revive, I will live again; I will reenergize my life. Finally, my star is mixed with her star, vortexes swirling inside.
How long the journey of our souls, traversing light years. Fear of the unknown bears no resemblance to my tears. Icy Titan bears no grudge to its new inhabitants. We pause there for days to replenish our water tanks.
Blasting off on an interplanetary journey, we push on to Orion. This solar system is but a moment to the eye of irony. It is to mix among the swirl of stars that I desire. Higher into the far reaches of galaxies, our ship fires onward.
Lo here and lo there is not the least voice I hear. I beckon toward the beaches of far Andremeda proper. Her light still guides, like a siren to the sailor. Bright star of her love, I still seek and wait for only her. © 2012 Cliff Rhodes |
