Broken Strings

Broken Strings

A Poem by cleo

They held each others arms,
hearts once again beating as one.
Kisses were drawn,
from lips that sang a love song.
Eyes that used to stare at each other,
now becomes a stranger.
The ears that used to hear sweet words,
now heard soft whispers
of goodbye.
