LIFE

Life is purgatory waiting to pounce,
It's joy is retained-- except for an ounce.
Fraught with lies lurking in every last corner,
Exemplifies pain and makes you a mourner.

This is my first poem ever and I tried make it an acrostic poem.
It seems kinda wonky to me but I don't know
