The poem is a relatable topic which is about all of our loved ones, who've suddenly left us hanging as if they've gone to a very unique celestial place.

Asleep

 

Being asleep

But vividly awake,

Makes you wonder,

Whether a certain someone,

Who is deeply connected to you

By heart can visit you,

Even if you’re aware

That it is absurd to happen

But if ever it did happen,

Keep in mind that it is all manifested

By the mind because you are

Still, undoubtedly longing for a

Certain someone who is long gone

In this world even if you feel,

She is still with you,

Whenever you’re asleep,

Lingering in your dreams,

Every memory with her keeps rewinding

In your head, on how she lived

Beautifully, and tragically

Left this world,

As when she was on the brink of death,

There is nothing much left for you to do

But to only see and wait for her to,

Breath her last breath,

As if she takes off somewhere celestial,

We pretend to know.
