Another poem in the Villanelle style

I lay it all down, brick by brick
As I struggle to build this wall
I can't do it alone, I need your love to make them stick

It's something can't do too quick
It takes time to build that which can bear it all
I lay it all down, brick by brick

Don't worry, this is no trick
You'll be safe with me, please don't stall

Without us both it will surely crumble with one good kick
And to someone new my bricks I'll have to haul

Trust me, there's no need to panic
Don't be afraid, I'll catch you if you fall

The higher it grows, the more I feel optimistic
But will our wall last? It's too soon to call
