A Poem by daydreamer
"

this is a nonsense poem, inspired by the song Step by Vampire Weekend

"
lost nights and whirlwind whispers
of spinning dance steps skipped to fading songs
of love, lust, and the aching need
to disappear in a puddle of
garden secrets and the melodies
of high school dreams surrendered

floating step by step,
closed eyelids with angel wings as lashes,
falling through a hurricane of glittering emptiness
and rushing music through knotted veins,
creating supernova stardust and starry oceans,
midnight hearts beating to they way
the summer night sky sighs into the moon's
open bones

I never capitalize what I write, sorry! I know it doesn't really flow, this was pretty much unfiltered since I wrote while I "felt" the song, idk you can ignore this if you want! Thoughts?
