A Fairytale...

" All women secretly want the fairytale"

 

In your hazel eyes I see no lies

Instead I'm surprised.

Saying everything I longed to hear

I’m having feelings I haven’t felt in years

Sometimes I shed tears

Looking back at what I miss

The youthful bliss of love

Now older, wiser,

Having experimented with the pleasure and pains associated with life.

No longer believing I failed as a wife.

Instead I realized that I just hadn't found “Mr. Right”, until now….

 

Your eyes saw right through my pain

Yet they dared me to take a risk.

You want to give me a real life fairytale.

The prince that saves the princess

who has been sleeping her whole life away.

Being with you, I feel blessed everyday

Years of laughter and passion to look forward to.

With you all my dreams can come true.

So I sit here next to you… in love.

Feeling warm and wonderful.

It’s magical...

I don’t have to question your love for me

With you I can be free.

Like a classically scripted bedtime story

We may live happily ever after.

For this is the beginning, only the first chapter
