Mended

Mended

A Poem by Ivory

It’s not like it hasn’t been broken before

My Heart

Ripped apart
So now I guard it well
Don’t want to walk through hell
Instead, I want my heart to yell
Scream with pleasure
Want someone to treasure
And for them to love me beyond measure
It’s not like is hasn’t been broken before
My heart

But now it’s time for me to start
Letting it love again

We can see differently once we have had our hearts mended.
I enjoyed this.
