Food for thought...

Food for thought...

A Poem by Ivory
"

A piece dedicated to my culture...and everyone eles like me : )

"

The air, filled with the favor of a home cooked meal.

Puerto Rican women know how to cook for real.
We feed your heart as well as your tummy,
Fill you up, till you start to walk funny.
We got attitude and spice.
You can tell by the taste of my red beans and rice,
I have the power to entice all your senses.
Throw on some salsa rhythms,
And watch my hips move in ways you’ve never seen.
Flirtatious by nature, I’m your wildest fantasy.
I’ll do anything to please you, satisfy all your wants and needs.
But be very afraid if you ever try to cross me.
I’ll burn you and take pleasure in witnessing your pain.
Making sure you never forget my name.
Sound crazy, but I’m not insane.
I just don’t play foolish games.
This is who I am;
Can you handle all you see?
Nuyrican, Boricua, what ever you wanna call me.
I take pride in my ethnicity,
Representing for all the ladies out there like me.

Stand up if you feel me!!
