The Ten Ex CommandmentsA Poem by IvoryOk I am not bashing men in this piece. lol I was trying something different and useing my own expereince. Yes i use some slang and if you follow hip hop then you know where i got the idea to write this piece from.
THE TEN EX COMMANDMENTS…
I came up wit some rules all women should follow,
To keep there ex in check and insure that he always come correct…
Number 1: Once it’s all said and done, never, ever give them sum.
Girls get caught up, even I was a fool, but I found a new man to put it on me,
So now I’m working with a new and improved tool…
Number 2: Remember they will always try to use you,
So be the player and beat them at there game.
Cuz if they're struggling guess where they will place the blame.
Number 3: Nothing is for free, so if you guys share kids,
Then you need to get that money!
Don’t fall for the “I ain’t working” line,
Let the new chick pay if she really ride or die…
Number 4: You’ve heard it before,” I’m sorry I love you, please take me back.”
Just remember it’s all a trap, to get what they need.
They will cry and beg,
like dogs, they belong on there hands and knees.
Number 5: Everything that comes out there mouth is one huge lie.
They could say the sun is shining,
But you better bring an umbrella before you step outside.
Number 6:Time to be a b***h!
Prove to them that you’re not the one to f**k wit!
No more being nice, save that sweet side for the new man in your life.
Number 7: Not all dogs end up in heaven.
God gives and he takes away.
The man that try’s to hurt you will have to answer to him one day.
Number 8: Don’t tell your ex about the new men you date,
Never give him a reason to hate.
You might want to tell him, cuz you think it will hurt, trust me, it won’t work.
Number 9: Don’t let him take his time, walking in and out of your children’s life.
Either he’s a fulltime father or a baby’s daddy.
But no matter what happens, it up to you to raise and keep your children safe and happy;
And Number 10: Make sure you never fall for him again.
A man might change how he acts,
What he say’s, and even what he does.
But they can never change there character,
It’s what defines all of us.
They may fool others,
but eventually the truth will be told.
So just stand aside and watch there lives unravel.
In the end they will end up all alone.
