Consequences

Consequences

A Poem by Ivory
"

I'm a believe in Karma. You must face consequences for your actions...

"

I was used, abused, and left confused.

Everything I’m fighting for, I may lose.
Your decisions, your mistakes, your so called life;
You neglected, deceived, and abandon your wife.
Innocent, lonely, helpless are our children.
Nothing normal, their home is ruined.
Holding on, but there’s nothing there.
Your one track mind is traveling elsewhere.
Forgiving with my heart, my love is blind.
Selfishly needing me, so you are kind;
Come to me, to be sexually satisfied.
I’ll take what I need, I will not be deprived.
You were able to look deep in my eyes.
But you can’t say you’re in love,
It would be your biggest lie.
Ruled by pride and prejudice,
Too many conditions, true love you dismiss.
But it is more than a feeling or passionate kiss.
Its building a bond and foundation with the one you’re with.
God’s personal gift;
What are the consequences for those who misuse it?
