Sadness

Sadness

A Poem by Ivory

I can feel you fading,

You grow increasingly despondent when I reach for you

Don’t you see I’m suffering

Overwhelming bleakness settles on my spirit

All that I feel now is sorrow, what happens to us

Your eyes full of woe, you say you want to end my heartache

But you don’t know how to free me from this state of dysphoria

Grief is all I feel now

Mourning what once was , our love...

A very haunting piece here which comes to the final blow,
‘Grief is all I feel now
Mourning what once was , our love...’

I found this very moving,

Best wishes,

Lathen

The sense of loss and abandonment in this one is overwhelming. It sounds like genuine depression and may require professional care.
