Roses grow old and stones start to crumble,
What is and what was no longer agree,
Slowly I feel the earth shake and rumble,
Everything rapidly falls down on me,
From muscle to bone to nothing at all,
Every memory starts to fade away,
Whatever is left is thrown off the wall,
All of those past smiles made can never stay,
The white light before me changes to dark,
Not Hell nor Heaven, never acceptance,
There is no place for me to leave my mark,
What was once good no longer has credence,
With no desire and foresight I may cry,
To fair Earth I finally say, “goodbye.”
