UNTITLED

A Poem by Clark Vincent

I can play the fool, break all the rules.
But all hope is gone,
All is gone.
When I arranged everything as if you never left.

When everything has been a let down.
Too dumb to realize,
Too late to apologize.
Too late to shower you with all these rhymes.

You might have someone new,
But still love you, I still do.
I still feel your presence,
Still high with your essence.

When every step I take to move away,
Still brings me back to you.
Trepidation is wakes me up everyday.
With the thought of you moving away.

But my days are filled with memories.
The look in your eyes.
Those warm embrace.
The smile on your face.

Those days are gone now.
With future that's uncertain, bleak as ever.
But one thing is clear,
This love stays forever.
