![]() EVERYTHINGA Poem by Clark VincentEVERYTHING Day after day, wishing my all dreams would be real, This outpouring of emotions, this deluge of love I feel. Each day I wake up, hoping you're here with me, Each day wanting from this longing to be free. You're the sole reason that I breathe everyday, My thoughts of you keep the darkness away. Still in love, So in love with you it keeps me going, Everyday, Every hour, Every minute, never stopping. I think of you each night before I slumber, So much more when I wake up to the morning amber. You're that sweet taste of cold water after a cup of black coffee, And that ray of sunshine after a pouring rain maybe? You're like the sunbeam that gleams through the shower, And kisses off gently the dews from the flower. You're like that HDR setting that makes a picture warm, And during a period of drought, that much needed storm. You're that blood that where everything do start, Which later settles deep down in my heart. You're like fire, which is all consuming, And forever should always be blooming. You're always in my dreams, ever so elusive, And those good things in life, all-inclusive. You are everything I could ever need and more, More than I deserve or would dare wish for.
