another night

another night

A Poem by Clare Ashbury

It's just f*****g free

I give and I give and again I just give

To be your woundful reality of

Three nails

A block of wood

A ball of twine

A bucket of ice

Lets celebrate

Concentrate

Darling its morning

In the distance i'm smiling

Up close stand back be ready to go

I'm lucky

Yet unlucky still

Parts of demands

And High as can be

The herbal sub of love and life

Penetrates my mind

Hold me and look in my eyes

I'll tell you all my secrets

Just ask all the right questions

Win me over

Kiss me

Light your lighter ten times in a row

Make my heart aflame

To then let all my feelings go.
