Tears of the sky

Tears of the sky

A Poem by Clare Ashbury
"

sitting in front of the televisions, i wrote three poems in 15 minutes.......this was the second.

"

She looks through the snowflakes

Tears of the skies

Invisible windmills toss them here and there

Branches invisible under the white tears

The world under this sorrow is plunged into white

The world is covered within an explosion

Life within chaos of fear and frustration

Beautifully bitter to the bone marrow

The childhood mind makes happiness of these tears

Delicacy within each tear

Sleepy beneath the sheets as she watches

Inside, protected, undisturbed

The world under these tears is soundless

No echo ventures to any ear

Tears that fall in stillness

The sadness brings life as well as death

Hot chocolate with marshmallows and tear

Fire light, sit around the fire place

The entity of living at stake

This sorrow brings a rareness of bliss

A kiss within the snow

A story is slowly made

Within this silence you misplace the track of time

Time just stops

To lie within this sorrow you would slowly

Disappear

    In

Tears of beauty.
