Don't need you

Don't need you

A Poem by Clare Ashbury

Watch me grow without you

Tied together

You called me useless

I walked away

Never thought i was wrong

And then you were gone

You came back just once

I cried

You laughed

I dried my tears

Yelled and screamed

You left me again

I never cried again

You said i was useless

Look at me now

I'm not yours anymore

I have the time to realize

You were wrong

You were in a rush to leave

I was waiting for satisfaction

You left with nothing

I have it all

You never cared

My heart was to full

I'm not a little girl anymore

You are fiction

Never fact

You could have stayed

You could have cared

But in the end I went far in this world

You ended your path when you started the car.

You turned your back on me

And my eyes only watched the car drive away.

In the end

I've grown without you

I don't need you anymore.
