If I had the chance to see you once again

To kiss you and hold you and love till the end.

If I had the chance to have you in my arms

And mend all the brokenness where it was torn

 

If I had the chance to wipe all of the tears

To swallow and brush away all of your fears

If I had the chance to keep you in my heart

I’d be faithful and loving right from the start

 

If I had the chance to say all these to you

I’d promise that all of it I’d follow through

If I had the chance to share our last dance

I’d run to you quickly, oh, if I had the chance…

Very nice concept and very wonderfully written. Syllables were perfect inevery line which gave it its smooth flow! Beautifully worded as well

This is very touching, it touched a place I wish things would quit touching but I suppose that it is helping to heal that wound that before has never wanted to heal.
I am sure many people will be able to relate to this piece because it is so full of imagery and pure raw emotion. I love the last two lines"If I had the chance to share our last dance, I'd run to you quickly, oh if I had the chance...." Very nicely penned.
