In my pleased more timely years
it was the shadow the branch that trickled and echoed the voice of greed that I desired would proceed into an battle worth enough for me Engrossed into wrong as I sang the heart wrenching song was my way of being sane in more then I could acclaim to prove I'm still standing But greed got the best of me and unfortunately I began to be the obsession, the luminous light, the most mesmerizing sight that paralyzed me with happiness Now the cloud of doubt heavily hovers over me hoping to be my love, my light, visible during midnight never dreaming of departure I can't keep standing in one place © 2016 Claire "Underground Poet"Author's Note
