She Lived Someplace Else

She Lived Someplace Else

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

SHE STARTED WITH THE USUAL

ABSURDITIES AND MOVED INTO

A CASUAL STATE OF

NONSENSE

“BREAKFAST IS A PLEASANT TIME OF DAY”

THERE WERE THREE CLOCKS

IN THE KITCHEN

AND EACH READ A DIFFERENT

INCORRECT

TIME. IT WAS NOT A

PROMISING BEGINNING.

NEXT CAME SENSELESS PRYING

AND I LEFT MY CONCIOUSNESS

TO CLEAR THE MESS.
