Lines That Never Meet

Lines That Never Meet

A Poem by Cassidy Mask
"

found this in an old sketchbook.

"

Life is a game

And it’s good to know

I’m not the weakest player

But under the scrutiny

Of restless eyes

Half closed in stupor,

Worn by all the

                Idiosyncrasies of time

It’s hard to find a

                S P A C E

In which to scream.

The use of the word 'idiosyncrasises' really adds to this. Maybe because it's different from this reat, which is simple words and the such, and then it's this long word that isn't particularly simple. But it shows that none of this really is simple. Well, to me at lesat. I really enjoyed the meaning in this and the way you did it.
