Fragment Faces

Fragment Faces

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

Fragments

Torn from a newspaper.

I piece them together

Make something new

Their faces stare beyond me

I watch their horror

Happiness, empty stares.

I tape them

In the middle of a

White page

And watch them drown

In the space.

Frozen in their

Expressions.

Frozen in a

Sliver of time.

Perfect in their

Moment,

Untouchable.

This is a really intense poem, it sort of gave me the chills.
You used such a simple act to portray something much bigger, I really truly loved it.
I don't understand why nobody has bothered to comment? Wtf.
Anyway, absolutely great job, you're a talented poet, it seems to come pretty naturally to you.
I sound like such a suck up :3
So yeah.
Cheers and have a good day.
