Diversion

Diversion

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

What have you done

I asked

As I watched

The world fall apart

I’ve created a diversion

Was your reply

As you watched

A ceiling crack

Widen

To swallow

The light bulb

A diversion

I asked

To what

To life

You replied

And with that

I couldn’t

Quarrel.
